SPEECH THERAPY
Speech therapy is a type of therapy that focuses on improving communication and speech skills. It is typically conducted by a speech-language pathologist (SLP) who is trained in the assessment and treatment of communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders. Speech therapy can be used to treat many things we take for granted, like eating and talking. Each care plan is tailored to the individual needs of the patient and is designed to improve their overall communication abilities. Sessions may involve a range of highly engaging activities to improve skills through play. Our speech-language pathologists specialize in speech sound disorders, oral motor, feeding, and social skills.
